Educational Conferences

Live Events Target Key Markets, Benefit Sponsors & Attendees

Kitchen & bath product marketers will have a unique opportunity in 2008 to participate as co-sponsors for a series of educational conferences aimed at increasing the design skills, showroom savvy and profitability of kitchen & bath dealers, designers, showroom personnel and related industry professionals.

Kitchen & Bath Design News’ 2008 conference program once again will bring KBDN “live” to major metro markets through three separate all-day seminar programs, co-produced under the terms of exclusive partnerships between KBDN and both the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and the SEN Design Group.

An entirely new seminar program, entitled PATHWAYS TO PROFIT, is being introduced to five markets – Atlanta, New York, Boston, Chicago and Cleveland – while the successful, well-received PROFITABLE SHOWROOM DESIGN seminar series will continue its successful run in three new markets – Dallas, Minneapolis and Tampa. Both programs, co-produced by KBDN and the NKBA, are led by well known design authority Ellen Cheever, CMKBD, ASID, and provide practical, in-depth strategies for generating additional revenue, and increasing profits, through the use of trend analysis, creative design techniques, product applications, visual merchandising and showroom management.

In addition, the wellreceived MANAGING FOR MAXIMUM PROFIT seminar series, co-produced by KBDN and SEN, will be led by respected educators and consultants Ken Peterson, CKD, and Tom Blau. This program – scheduled to take place in Washington, DC, Cincinnati and Jacksonville, FL – focuses on utilizing sound management strategies and business tools to improve the financial performance of kitchen and bath retail firms.

Sponsorship Benefits

Sponsorships enable industry-leading corporations to strengthen the businesses of their customers, receive valuable exposure before key specifiers, and position their own company as a leading source of education to the kitchen and bath trade.

By sponsoring a seminar, a company also receives the following benefits:

  • Editorial coverage in KBDN in connection with the event, as well as inclusion in advertising and targeted direct mail pieces, free of charge.
  • The ability to invite customers and prospects to the seminar on a complimentary basis.
  • The right to have promotional literature and representatives at each sponsored seminar.
  • Access to attendee lists for postseminar follow-up.
  • The ability to incorporate product visuals into presentations.

Sonsorship Costs

Sponsorships to any of the seminars can be purchased individually or as part of a series – and can be “bundled” with display ad programs as part of a powerful, integrated marketing program that goes far beyond print. 2008 seminars are priced as follows:
