HACKETTSTOWN — Kohler Co., the Kohler, WI-based plumbing products manufacturer, has donated $350,000 to assist the National Kitchen & Bath Association in funding 2021 programs for the association’s 70 chapters across the U.S. and Canada.
Bill Darcy, CEO of the Hackettstown, NJ-based NKBA, announced the donation at the conclusion of the annual “State of the Industry” and “State of the Association” presentations, delivered online in conjunction with the recent KBIS Virtual 2021. The grant was presented to the NKBA by Kohler Co. President and CEO David Kohler.
“A large percentage of the NKBA’s revenue stream comes from live events, and the cancellation of this year’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) as a live event represents a dramatic financial hit” for the association, Darcy said, adding that the Kohler grant will assist the trade association in helping deliver programs this year on the chapter level.
“We believe so much in the work of the NKBA, especially on the front lines of the chapters, where so many industry professionals are doing amazing work each day,” Kohler said. “We’re pleased to help in a small way to make sure that these professionals are armed with the best tools and training possible.”
