JASPER, IN — MasterBrand, Inc., the Jasper, IN-based manufacturer of numerous major brands in North America, has completed its previously announced separation from Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc., and is now an independent, publicly traded company.
The company announced its formal separation from Fortune Brands as of Dec. 2, 2022, with the distribution of approximately 128 shares of MasterBrand common stock, officials said, adding that MasterBrand common stock began “regular-way” trading on the New York Stock Exchange on December 15 under the ticker MBC.
MasterBrand subsidiaries include Decorá, Kitchen Craft, HomeCrest Cabinetry, Omega Cabinetry, Aristokraft Cabinetry and Mid Continent Cabinetry.
“Now we begin a new and exciting chapter in the MasterBrand story,” said Dave Banyard, president and chief executive officer. “We are very well positioned to build on our rich history and deliver best-in-class operating and financial performance as a fully independent, publicly traded company,” he added.
