Chicago Faucet Supports IL Educational Initiative

Des Plaines, IL — The Chicago Faucet Company has supplied the Big Shoulders Fund with faucets for a special “Give Back Day” at St. Angela School, a Chicago parochial school whose old faucets were replaced and restrooms painted, the company announced.

The Big Shoulders Fund provides support to Catholic schools in the neediest areas of Chicago. Funds are used to support children through scholarships, special education programs, instructional equipment, operating grants, faculty support and facility improvements, said the Des Plaines, IL-based Chicago Faucet, a unit of the Geberit Group, a global provider of sanitary technology.

“The tremendous community support, ranging from donated faucets to countless hours of volunteer work, has given St. Angela School a rejuvenated spirit and presents a tangible symbol of hope, caring and good citizenship,” said Pat Kimener, v.p./sales for Chicago Faucets.
