Newport News, VA — Ferguson, the Newport News, VA-based wholesale distributor of plumbing supplies, cabinetry, bathroom fixtures and appliances, has opened a 12,500-sq.-ft. facility in Sarasota, FL, the company announced.

The company, in the midst of a significant effort to open new showrooms in key metro markets, said that the showroom is aimed at builders and remodelers, and will feature a wide range of the products carried by Ferguson.

The distributor has sales of $11.2 billion and approximately 1,400 service centers located in the 50 U.S. states, plus Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Caribbean.
