Kitchen and bath dealers and designers are faced with myriad requests from well-educated clients who are product savvy and demanding when it comes to having their needs met.

For key specifiers, the 27th annual Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference (K/BIS) offered a buffet of options to please even the most discriminating clients. More than 900 exhibitors displayed their wares, enticing and inspiring a record-breaking 45,000-plus attendees with countless product offerings designed to meet clients’ ever-changing design needs. “Green” products were front and center at this year’s K/BIS, with a host of earth-friendly and nature-inspired offerings, Energy Star rated appliances, water-saving devices and products made from renewable resources among the hottest items. Increasing interest in Universal Design was evident at this year’s show, and product introductions reflected the need for stylish yet accessible products. For busy families, products that offered ease of use, clever storage and high-tech functions garnered great interest, as well.
