Hackensack, NJ — Kitchen & Bath Design News will sponsor an exclusive Satellite Media Tour at this year’s Kitchen/Bath Industry Show (K/BIS), providing exhibitors with product exposure to thousands of potential kitchen and bath consumers via key media outlets throughout the U.S.

KBDN editorial director and publisher Eliot Sefrin announced the initiative last month, noting that three companies – Broan/ NuTone, Acryline USA, Inc. and Maytag – have already signed up to participate in the venture, scheduled to film live from
the show floor of the 2008 K/BIS in Chicago on Friday, April 11.

“This is an exciting new venture for KBDN that extends our brand into the consumer realm and enables homeowners across the country to get a taste and feel for the excitement of K/BIS by getting exposure to some of the top new products on display at the show,” Sefrin said.

“It’s also an excellent opportunity for kitchen and bath marketers to make an indelible impression on consumers by utilizing TV in a truly unique and cost-effective way,” he continues.

Produced in conjunction with DWJ Television, a world leader in broadcast public relations, the Satellite Media Tour combines several non-competing products into a single segment and provides stations with newsworthy segments about the
hottest new trends in kitchen and bath design.

Product messages will be delivered via satellite to morning and midday shows in the top 200 U.S. markets by Kitchen & Bath Design News editor Janice Anne Costa, as well as via radio and online podcasts. Similar Satellite Media Tours in the past have averaged between 700,000 and 2 million consumer views, according to Sefrin.
