Alexander City, AL — The fourth annual “Wellborn Forest Driver Safety Program” has recognized nine drivers for their accident-free driving record for 2007.

The Driver Safety Program was implemented in 2004 in an effort by the Alexander City, AL-based cabinet manufacturer to promote safety on the road, corporate officials noted.

To qualify as a recipient for the annual bonus, drivers must not have any accidents or any fault-related damages to the company's trucks and tractors.

Wellborn Forest drivers logged more than 950,000 miles, delivering to customers in 32 states during 2007, the company said.

Recipients include Kenneth Adams, Mac Carden, Phillip Carroll, Jeff Evans, Mark Fullbright, Tony McVey, Johnnie Rainwater, Daniel Ricketson and William Simmons.
