TOTO’s new Kiwami Asymmetrical Vessel Lavatory celebrates the sculptural look of nature’s elliptical shapes. Although thin-walled, the sink’s asymmetrical design is extremely strong. Along the thinnest part of the lavatory’s frame, the LINEARCERAM is approximately half the thickness of a conventional basin wall, yet the proprietary TOTO material has almost twice the tensile strength of fireclay, the company reports. The vessel also incorporates CEFIONTECT glaze, a proprietary technology for preventing debris from sticking to surfaces and ensuring easy cleaning.
