- In this Universal Design kitchen, featured in the Chairs and Cares model accessible home on the Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, WI, the height-adjustable sink features roll-under, motion-activated elements. The sink area also includes a motion-activated faucet with lever faucet control.
- In this well-lit, open kitchen, a tilt
mirror is located over the roll-under cooktop for easy viewing of cooking items. A side-swing wall oven door and drawer microwave provide unobtrusive and functional design elements.
- The ceiling track lift system in the master suite is on a turntable in the bathroom for access to a roll-in shower, toilet and tub. The care giver is seen here transferring her client from her wheelchair to the wheelchair -style showerchair behind her.
