Several kitchens and baths were honored as part of the second annual Fantini Design Awards, presented by Fantini USA. Recognizing excellence in kitchen and bath design throughout North America, the awards called upon architects, designers and building developers to submit eligible projects inspired by water and with a passion for Italian design that show how Fantini products helped turn their visions into reality.

Seven winners were chosen overall, with six from the category of completed projects and one from a future project, a new category in the competition. Entries were evaluated by a panel of judges, including Stefano Giussani, CEO Lissoni Inc.; Jaime Derringer, founder and executive editor, Design Milk, and Arianne Nardo, Home + Design editor, Robb Report, on the basis of creativity, design, inspiration and quality of the submitted materials.

One representative per winning project traveled to the Fantini headquarters on Lake Orta in Pella, Italy as a part of a four-day, all-expenses-paid trip. Winners received a tour of Fantini’s recently renovated, state-of-the-art factory and headquarters designed by Piero Lissoni, and stayed at Fantini’s exclusive new resort, Casa Fantini/Lake Time.▪
