Salone del Mobile Wraps Up
MILAN, ITALY – The 58th edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano is in the books, and its success is measured partly by a 12% increase in visitors over 2017, the last time the event included Euroluce and Workplace3.0. Over 386,000 attendees from 181 different countries descended on Milan for the 2019 Milan Furniture Fair, which took place at Rho in Lombardy, Italy from April 9 through April 14.
Some 2,400 exhibitors from 43 countries were split among the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Euroluce, Workplace3.0 and the first-ever S.Project, including the 550 designers under 35 who participated in SaloneSatellite.
The show also honored Leonardo da Vinci with the immersiveDE-SIGNO. The Art of Italian
Design Before and After Leonardo installation at the fair and AQUA. Leonardo’s Water Vision in the
Salone del Mobile.Milano also presented a Special Lifetime Award to Mario Bellini, the Milanese designer. The award honors his creativity and talent and serves as a thank you for his huge contribution to Salone del Mobile through his collaboration with so many exhibiting companies over the years, note event organizers.

The next edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano will be held in Milan from April 21 through 26, 2020.
