RESTON, VA — Sales of kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities posted fresh gains in March, while pacing solidly ahead of sales in 2022, the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association reported.
According to the KCMA’s latest monthly “Trend of Business Survey,” participating manufacturers reported that overall cabinet and vanity sales were up 14.7% in March compared to the same month in 2022.
Gains were led by a 15.3% increase in sales of semi-custom cabinets, while custom cabinet sales rose 14.7%, and sales of stock units posted a 12% gain, according to the Reston, VA-based KCMA.
Despite a sharp (21.9%) decline in stock cabinet sales, year-to-date sales in 2023 were up 7.2% compared to the same three-month period in 2022, the trade association added.
