RESTON, VA — Major domestic kitchen cabinet and vanity manufacturers continued to post early-2021 sales gains according to the latest in monthly series of “Trend of Business Surveys” conducted by the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association.
The KCMA’s latest survey results reflected a 17.9% rise in overall sales among participating cabinet manufacturers for March, compared to the same month in 2020. March custom cabinet sales were up 21.5%, while semi-custom sales rose 20.3%, and stock sales increased 29.6%, according to the Reston, VA-based trade association. Sales through the first quarter of 2021 were up 11.6% over the same three-month period last year.
Survey participants include stock, semi-custom and custom companies whose combined sales represent approximately 75% of the U.S. kitchen cabinet and bath vanity market, the KCMA noted.
