Cosentino Opens Tampa Facility
TAMPA, FL — Cosentino, the Almeria, Spain-based supplier of kitchen and bath countertop surfacing materials, has announced the opening of its Cosentino Tampa Center.
The October opening marks the brand’s latest expansion in Florida, which also serves as home to Cosentino’s Americas headquarters and reflects the company’s continued expansion in the U.S., which comprises more than 60% of global sales, corporate officials said.
The Tampa Center is designed to support, promote and educate architects and designers by integrating distribution facilities with product display areas, meeting spaces for designers to assist clients, classrooms for continuing education, fully functioning kitchens and event space for demonstrations, according to the company. The center, the latest of 48 such facilities in the U.S., features a 2,200-sq.-ft. showroom, supported by a 20,000-sq.-ft. warehouse and a gallery display of Cosentino products.
“The centers create an interactive environment for architects, designers, distributors and fabricators to fully experience the expansive offering of Cosentino products, as well as earn continuing education credits, attend expert seminars and receive training on new production techniques and innovations,” the company said.
“With an estimated 300,000 new residents moving to Florida each year, Florida’s construction and development market is growing exponentially,” added Eduardo Martinez-Cosentino, CEO of Cosentino North America. “Tampa makes up a substantial part of that growth. Expanding our footprint to Ellenton with the Cosentino Center and a warehouse allows us to better serve the Southwest Florida area, and the exciting opportunities this new market presents.”
