ARLINGTON, VA — Organizers of Coverings, the largest international ceramic tile and natural stone event in North America, have announced that Coverings 2023 exceeded expectations “with a vigorous 50% year-over-year increase in attendance.”
According to show organizers, the annual four-day event, staged in April at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, totaled nearly 27,000 attendees, “and was one of the most dynamic expositions and conferences” in Coverings’ 34-year history.
Coverings 2023 spanned some 450,000 net sq. ft. of exhibit floor space and featured pavilions hosted by the world’s leading ceramic tile associations and product manufacturers from the U.S., Italy, Spain, Brazil, Turkey, Portugal, India, China and other countries. Exhibitors, who represented 40 countries, showcased ceramic tile, natural stone, tools, equipment, machinery and technology. International exhibitors made up 74 percent of the exposition, whereas 26 percent were domestic.
“Positive networking connections and productive business resonated throughout Coverings 2023,” said Jenn Heinold, president of Taffy Event Strategies, the show management company for Coverings. “With a tremendously busy show floor and standing-room-only learning sessions, we are extremely pleased with the stream of elated feedback we continue to receive from Coverings 2023 attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and press members alike.”
Coverings 2024 is scheduled for April 22-25, 2024, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Information can be accessed by visiting www.coverings.com.
