Donna Venegas believes that kitchens are not business; kitchens are personal. “I develop such great relationships with my clients,” she stresses. “This work is so rewarding. There is no other work I’d rather be doing.”
In January 2009, the designer and another employee founded Venegas and Company. In the 11 years since its inception, the company has grown to be a kitchen design firm that is recognized in the industry as an innovator that cultivates talent and advances the specialty of kitchen design and custom cabinetry.
Venegas and Company is unique in that it combines the bespoke offering of a millwork operation with the convenience of a showroom experience in the center of the city. “In no other single showroom in Boston will you experience the range of styles and finishes that we offer. R&D is constant; we never stop developing, experimenting and evolving,” Venegas says.
The firm’s work has been featured in industry magazines and has appeared several times on “This Old House.” In addition, it has been awarded Boston Magazine’s “Best of Boston” designation twice.
Venegas serves on many industry design councils to help direct the future of kitchen design. She and her team remain dedicated to the craft of kitchen design and collaboration.
