Elizabeth Scruggs is a connector and collaborator. She believes that the knowledge gained from attending the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show and other trade shows each year is what differentiates her firm from others, arming her with options to offer her clients.
Staying involved keeps her in a leadership role, she believes. Scruggs has been a speaker for #dmmtalks at KBIS, and has served on panels at High Point Market. She was a member of the Blog Tour KBIS Orlando 2018, High Point Market Blog Tour in 2019, and part of the Inaugural Tour of Signature Kitchen Suite in Napa, CA with Veronika Eagleson and Designhounds in 2019. She has collaborated with brands such as Hudson Valley, Revel Woods and Dorel.
During a career that began over 20 years ago, Scruggs became one of the first female licensed general contractors in her area. She now owns the design-build firm Superior Construction and Design in Lebanon, TN, where Scruggs and her staff provide complete home project management with their 15-step process in construction, remodeling and design.
She has won numerous awards over the years, including Best of the Best Interior Designer in Wilson County, the Main Street Award for Best General Contractor and Best Interior Designer and multiple Houzz awards. She is also a three-time Top Ten winner of the RESA award for Best Redesigner in the United States.
