Elkay Cites Results From Support
Program
Oak Brook, IL Elkay Mfg. Co. has cited positive
results in 2003 from the showroom assistance program launched a
year earlier to assist kitchen/bath dealers and interior designers
in merchandising the company’s products.
“The 1,000+ showrooms that participated in the 2003
Elkay Diamond Design Program nearly a 50% increase over 2002
boosted their Elkay sales significantly on targeted products,”
announced John Heilstedt, executive v.p./sales and marketing for
the Oak Brook, IL-based sink and faucet manufacturer.
The Elkay “Diamond Design Program” expands the
company’s existing product merchandising strategy with product,
promotion and publicity initiatives that target the design
community, including kitchen/bath retailers, plumbing wholesalers,
reps, interior designers, architects and builders. The program was
recently cited for its scope and vision in the annual “Industry
Leadership Awards Competition” sponsored by Kitchen & Bath
Design News.
