What started off as a simple space “refresh” – just a quick paint and polish – became a much larger project for David Griffin of Complete Access, Inc. when the clients decided to go all-in on a full house renovation. The master bath featured two strictly demarcated his-and-hers spaces, a layout which the design team opted to work within and enhance.

AFTER
The two distinct bathing spaces are separated by a walk-in closet, and when reimagining the rooms, the design team sought to create distinctive spaces, yet with just enough unifying elements to create a sense of cohesion. The baths feature subtle atmospheric enhancements, including easy-to-open casement windows to let in a breeze and scent of the rose garden below, as well as dimmable mood lighting. The James Martin vanity features unique olive-wood barrels, which, when combined with the freestanding tub, creates a serene, elegant aesthetic. Each of the showers features unique, eye-catching floor mosaics hand-assembled from tile remnants.
