PALO ALTO, CA — Houzz has launched Houzz Pro, a suite of software tools that design and remodeling professionals can use to manage their residential design and construction businesses. The software is designed to help industry pros manage the full project life cycle, including attracting and converting new clients, communicating with clients and handling billing, all in one place.
The new tools bring together the Ivy by Houzz business management software with Houzz’s marketing features. The tools are just one aspect of the Houzz Pro Resilience Initiative, designed to help pros strengthen their businesses; stay connected to one another, their clients and their teams, and tap into the the Houzz community, according to the company.
“Now, more than ever, building and remodeling pros are asking for tools that will help them run profitably and efficiently and deliver an amazing customer experience,” said Alon Cohen, Houzz co-founder and president. He adds that, with the challenges the professional community is facing now with COVID-19, the software is being provided to all existing pro subscribers as part of their subscription.
With Houzz Pro, design pros can manage their client pipeline from any source, including Houzz. Within the software, users can communicate with their leads, add internal notes about projects and attach relevant files and photos. They can also employ the tool to chat in real time or to email potential clients. A scheduling tool integrates with a personal calendar, allowing for booking meetings with clients.
The messaging tool tracks the communication history, including chat, email, photos and documents. Custom proposals can be created and sent using the software, and approvals can be tracked. Tear sheets, invoices and purchase orders can be sent through the software.
With the Product Clipper tool, designers can save all the specs and imagery for each product into a personal library. Online payments can also be accepted via credit card or wire transfer, and the software integrates with QuickBooks Online.
