ITALKRAFT Opens U.S. Manufacturing Facility

MIAMI, FL – After a decade of exclusively producing its luxury kitchens, baths, closets and millwork in its manufacturing hub in Italy, ITALKRAFT opened its first U.S.-based manufacturing facility in Miami in December. Equipped with the same machinery and technology as its Italian manufacturing plant, the new facility will generate 10 percent of all ITALKRAFT products, with the capability to produce 800 cabinets per day in one shift, according to the company. This strategic move will allow ITALKRAFT to produce faster lead times for its current 350 single-family homes (retail) and 75 multifamily projects (commercial), providing the flexibility necessary to meet rising construction demands heading into 2022.

ITALKRAFT’s need for more flexibility became apparent during the height of the pandemic with delays caused by global shutdowns, further exacerbated by the supply chain crisis. In the 10 years since its founding, ITALKRAFT notes that it has experienced tremendous growth — its sales have grown from a few million dollars in its nascent years to over $100 million per year today.

As the housing market has heated up over the last 18 months, the firm has seen record-high demand and anticipates that momentum will continue into 2022. The company expects to sign 150 new multifamily projects in the next six months as well as enter into new markets, including Seattle.
