Jennifer Kowalski, AKBD, prides herself on cultivating relationships of trust with her clients. Understanding their home life, how they like to entertain and how they live in their home is critical to creating the ideal designs that are unique to them. Many of these client relationships have generated years-long friendships, the designer notes.
After graduating from Seattle Pacific University in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Kowalski wasted no time in plunging into kitchen and bath design professionally, working for a Seattle-based design firm and a German cabinetry company. She joined Six Walls Interior Design in Mercer Island, WA as the firm’s kitchen and bath specialist in 2015, and was tasked with developing its K+B department and building the showroom, which had previously not existed. After five years with Six Walls, she was promoted to director of Kitchen + Bath. When Six Walls expanded the firm into Denver, the K+B Department was a keystone of that expansion.
In 2014, Kowalski was selected by the National Kitchen & Bath Association as a 30 Under Thirty award recipient. After years of volunteering, she currently serves as president of the Puget Sound Chapter of NKBA and is in her fourth year on the Interior Design Advisory board for Seattle Pacific University.
