Industry involvement leads to recognition

Jeremy Parcels, CKBD, owner, Parcels Design Studio, in Lakewood, CO, has a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. His other passion is contributing to the kitchen and bath industry through involvement in the Florida and Colorado NKBA chapters.

After studying architecture at the University of South Florida, Parcels went back to work for his family’s remodeling business. This led to his involvement with the NKBA Central Florida chapter, where he served as communications chair, president and chapter representative.

In 2016 the designer moved to Denver, where he jumped right back into volunteering, this time for the NKBA Rocky Mountain Chapter, where he served as communications chair and 2020-2021 chapter president. He has been helping with NKBA certification classes and the chapter’s annual design competition, the Peak Awards, which he has won six times, including People’s Choice Kitchen in 2020.

Parcels was recently recognized at KBIS 2021, being named chapter president of the year as well as chapter officer of the year by the NKBA’s national board of directors.

He remains in demand in the industry, having spoken at Coverings, KBIS and the Southeast Building Conference. He has particular expertise in European cabinetry, which was the subject of his “Voices From The Industry” session program for KBIS.
