KBDN 50 Awards Program Launched

EVANSTON, IL  Kitchen & Bath Design News has announced the launch of its inaugural KBDN 50, a new recognition program honoring 50 top kitchen and bath professionals whose talents and efforts are moving the industry forward in 2017. KBDN is seeking nominations of kitchen and bath dealers, designers and showroom professionals who have made a significant difference in the kitchen and bath industry through their leadership, business and design innovations and overall contributions to the kitchen and bath industry.

KBDN Publisher Paul DeGrandis explains, “The kitchen and bath industry has done an inspiring job of elevating design from the product standpoint. But where great design meets the homeowner – transforming not only physical spaces, but also lives – is where ‘the business of kitchen and bath design’ needs to have a lasting impact.”

He continues, “It is critical for kitchen and bath dealers, designers and showrooms to provide customers with expertise unique to their training. The future is about constantly elevating and differentiating the unique skill sets of kitchen and bath design. KBDN is excited to identify and honor those individuals who are making an impact in their companies and communities through their thoughtful approach to the ‘business of design.’”

KBDN will be accepting nominations through June 1, 2017. Fifty leaders will be chosen by a team of industry experts along with the KBDN editors, and these top 50 industry pros will be profiled in the October 2017 issue of the magazine.

The 2017 KBDN 50 nomination form can be found here. Entries must include a description of the nominee’s professional career as well as accomplishments, along with information about why the nominee is a leader and innovator in the kitchen and bath industry. Self-nominations will also be accepted.

Nominees who do not receive recognition in 2017 will be eligible for the honor in future years.
