HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — Nominations for the Kitchen + Bath Hall of Fame are currently being sought by the National Kitchen & Bath Association, the trade association announced.
The NKBA said that Hall of Fame nominations will be accepted from Aug. 15 through Sept. 30, with selection based on “outstanding achievement throughout one’s career, leadership and corporate citizenship.”
“The kitchen and bath industry has always given birth to amazing products, technologies, design trends and other elements to enhance the safety, comfort, beauty and function of the two most important rooms in the house,” the Hackettstown, NJ-based trade association said.
“Since the NKBA created the Kitchen + Bath Hall of Fame in 1989, more than 90 outstanding individuals have been recognized for their creative thinking, service to the industry, marketing prowess and other unique contributions.”
Although nominees are not limited to NKBA members, nominations must be submitted by NKBA members and will be reviewed by a selection committee. Hall of Fame inductees will be honored at a special event the evening prior to the opening of the 2023 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, the NKBA said.
“NKBA’s Kitchen + Bath Hall of Fame celebrates the remarkable individuals who pushed boundaries in their careers and created a lasting legacy of enduring impact to the industry,” the NKBA said. “Some (may) not be household names, or familiar to consumers, but they changed the way professionals do their jobs to create kitchens and bathrooms in more efficient, precise, or otherwise superior ways.”
