Technology ensures projects aren’t halted by pandemic

Whether it be implementing the newest design trends seamlessly with timeless methods and pieces, researching how lighting can impact and influence a space, or utilizing technology to help clients with the design process, Leah Muller, ASID, lead designer, Leah Muller Interiors, in Vero Beach, FL, is always updating her process.

When the pandemic began in March 2020, things initially came to a standstill. As a result, changes needed to be made because projects could not come to a halt. Through Zoom meetings and online client portals, Muller was able to continue her work for her clients while keeping herself, her clients and her employees safe and happy. Through the new online client portal, clients could see how their project was progressing. Updates to fabric or furniture selections were revised automatically on the portal.

Muller also became the face of “coastal modern,” coining the term and becoming renowned for her style. As a result, she began developing a business for those who didn’t think they could afford or didn’t need a slew of services but rather an accessory here or there. With an e-commerce store, she will be able to offer her design expertise to all ranges of clients and budgets.
