BETHLEHEM, PA – The National Kitchen & Bath Association has opened nominations for Kitchen & Bath Hall of Fame for 2024. Nominees should be exceptional kitchen and bath professionals who have made significant and enduring contributions to the kitchen and bath industry and/or the NKBA.
Established in 1989, the Hall of Fame awards have honored individuals who not only embody the spirit of the industry but have contributed to its growth. Previous inductees have shaped the industry and had a dramatic impact on the market and the lives of homeowners everywhere.
Members of the NKBA are invited to nominate someone who they believe has made a significant difference in the industry. Such individuals should have advanced the interests and image of kitchen and bath design, remodeling, sales, product development and the industry in general through their many accomplishments. Hall of Fame nominees must have contributed in a significant way to the industry’s growth and professionalism on a national or global scale, while simultaneously having strong involvement in industry organizations, including but not limited to the NKBA.
Specifically, Hall of Fame nominees, whether or not they are currently active, should include one or more of the following pillars:
- Industry Contributions: The individual has forever changed the industry and is a visionary with a national and/or global perspective that creates opportunities and identifies avenues of expansion for the kitchen and bath industry.
- Leadership: The individual has served in leadership positions of national and/or international associations and other industry-related groups and has contributed to beneficial change on boards or in industry organizations.
- Corporate Citizenship: The individual provides leadership in social responsibility and supports worthy causes that have had positive impacts on industry professionals and/or boosted the industry’s image through the support of these social causes.
Nominations will be accepted until Sept. 29, 2023 at 5 p.m. ET. Those selected will be inducted at KBIS 2024 in Las Vegas during the Kitchen & Bath Design + Industry Awards.
