Ocean Vista

Situated on the waterfront near the Burrard Inlet in West Vancouver, BC, Canada, the design of this luxury home was largely inspired by water. The view of the ocean from the home was key to the design by Vancouver’s FNDA Architecture. Said the firm, “The residence is inspired by water, and every aspect of the design [plays] with the concept that man and nature are one. As such, [it] places a responsibility on the architect to celebrate and incorporate nature into the design through the use of natural materials and, in this case, celebrating water as a key design element.” Use of the Fantini Milano collection and Aqua Zone rain showerhead in the master bath provided a clean, minimalist aesthetic to complement the design of the house. Since the floor-to-ceiling windows face the ocean, the FNDA team put the large soaking tub with a Milano floor-mounted faucet in a prime spot to enjoy the view. In the powder room, the Milano wall-mounted faucet adds a solid and steady aspect to the custom-designed Krion sink that mimics the flow of water.
