Black & White

The powder room in this Miami, FL bachelor pad is located near the home’s entrance, making it one of the first things seen upon entering. Designer Sandra Diaz-Velasco of Eolo A&I Design, Inc. in Miami made the room’s entrance flush to the rest of the foyer wall so it was nearly invisible. When the door is open, the elements in the space reflect the feel of an art display.
The modern, clean palette begins with a Porcelanosa
Pedestal Faces stand in Havana Dark, against a backlit wall covered in white Iceland Barbed natural marble stone tiles. A simple modern Porcelanosa Lounge wall-mounted lavatory faucet sits over the sink, joined by a small Vallvé shelf and towel rod, all finished in black to provide additional contrast.
A large mirror on the adjacent wall reflects the light, making the small room appear larger. The mirror’s opposite wall is painted black as not to distract from the artistic elements.
The white natural stone Ceniza Matte flooring tile runs throughout the room, leading to the far wall where a Duravit wall-mounted toilet with Geberit in-wall tank system continues the contemporary concept.
