Bosch home appliances is expanding its cooking portfolio with the 800 Series industrial-style ranges and rangetops. The cooktop, available in 30″ and 36″, features die-cast metal, front-controlled knobs, continuous cast iron grates and pedestal feet. Six high-efficiency burners are showcased on the 36″ model, including two 18K BTU dual-flame burners and 77,000 total BTUs of power. The Dual-Flame Ring Burner allows users to go from one small flame for precise simmering, to a dual flame for powerful boiling with just one burner and two concentric rings of flames. The rangetops also feature the Bosch OptiSim Burner Cap for more control of the flame at the lowest setting as well as more precise simmering and melting, the company states. Removable burner parts allow for easier cleanup and are dishwasher safe.
