Hand-Hammered Tub

The Hammered Copper finish is now available to order on the bateau-shaped Usk enameled cast iron bath from Drummonds. Sheet copper is wrapped around the exterior of the tub and then beaten into place by hand with mallets, creating the characteristic undulations and dimples. The metal is then polished to a high shine and lacquered to preserve the look.
