Sharp Home Electronics Company of America has unveiled its built-in Smart Convection Microwave Drawer Oven, which combines sensor microwave cooking with dual convection fans. The 24″ unit includes smart features such as access to recipes, tips and remote control through the Sharp Kitchen smart device app and compatibility with Amazon Echo devices for voice-enabled commands. Sharp’s Easy Wave Open function allows for touchless opening of the drawer. Three Speed Cook modes that mix convection with microwave cooking; Air Fry mode that makes food tender on the inside and crispy on the outside; Convection Grill mode that allows for the cooking of beef, pork, chicken, fish and even burgers; Convection Bake mode for making muffins, cakes and pizza; Convection Roast mode for roasting chicken and other meats, and Toast mode for toasting bread and bagels are also featured.
