Sugatsune America engineers developed the heavy duty J95 European Cup Hinge in response to custom cabinet builders who struggled to find hardware that could support larger, heavier doors. Often, the solution was to use more cup hinges; for example, a 72” pantry door weighing 55 pounds would require five or six hinges. Aside from ruining the aesthetics, it increases time for installation. Sugatsune’s J95 hinge allows the same door to be hung using only two hinges.
