Combination Induction Cooktop & Downdraft Ventilation

From: Jenn-Air

Jenn-Air has combined downdraft ventilation with induction cooking technology to introduce its first induction downdraft cooktop. The 36″ cooktop provides induction cooking, which uses electromagnetic energy to turn cookware into the heat source. With two flexible induction cooking areas and a bridge element on both sides, the cooktop can accommodate up to six pots at once. By incorporating the downdraft ventilation directly on the cooktop, proximity ventilation captures smoke, steam and odors at the cooking surface, while keeping sight lines clear. With an exhaust capacity rating of 350 CFM in a ducted configuration, the downdraft blower is designed with centrifugal fan technology to both quickly ventilate cooking vapors. For areas without ducting, a duct-free option that uses a filtration system to capture smoke and steam is available.
