Rep Association Inducts Pair in Hall of Fame
GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Association of Independent Manufacturers’/Representatives, the trade association of independent sales representative agencies serving the kitchen/bath, plumbing and related industries, recently honored the contributions of two members by inducting the reps in the organization’s Hall of Fame.
The honorees – Sam McCullough and Dave Watson – were cited at AIM/R’s recent 47th Annual Conference in Orlando, according to the Glen Ellyn, IL-based organization, which founded its Hall of Fame in 2015. Sixteen inductees have since been honored.
McCullough, founder of S.D. McCullough & Associates, was AIM/R president from 1981-1982. His sales agency, which served a wide range of plumbing and hardware wholesalers, represented a variety of product lines in six midwestern states. Watson, principal of Dave Watson Associates, served as AIM/R president from 1996-1997. His agency covers Michigan’s lower peninsula, as well as northeastern Indiana.
Also presented at the AIM/R conference was the association’s “Golden Eagle Award,” which recognizes senior-level plumbing manufacturing executives who have actively supported independent reps and the role they play in the supply chain. Elkay Corp.’s Exec. V.P. Mark Whittington was selected for the award.
