Complete home design is the driver behind highly awarded designer
For over 41 years, Sandra Steiner-Houck has been transforming spaces into creative, purposeful designs. Her professional achievements have led to her biographical inclusion in Marquis Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in The East, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who in Science and Engineering.
After earning her Interior Design degree from Bauder Fashion College in 1981, Steiner-Houck spent 12 years in the industry working in high-end kitchen and bath showrooms while earning her Certified Kitchen Designer credentials. During those early years, Steiner-Houck developed a great passion for kitchen and bath design but also felt somewhat limited and wanted to work with clients on their entire interiors. This is what led her to start her own complete interior design firm, Steiner-Houck & Associates, with offices located
in Mount Joy, PA and Annapolis, MD.
Steiner-Houck is currently serving on the North American Design Council for Metrie as well as the Thermador National Design Council and The Baldwin Design Council. She has served on the panel of judges for the NKBA National Design Competition for three separate years. In addition, she has been the recipient of an international design award and has also received more than 37 national design awards.
