In order to increase ventilation, Paul Kowalski and his team rerouted the vents and installed additional fan/can combinations. New sconces on the vanity mirror added much-needed lighting to the area. The old tub deck was removed and replaced with a peaceful bathing nook with a sleek free-standing tub that turns the existing window into an elegant focal point for the space. The owner emphasized the need for something special to help distinguish the space, so tasteful yet striking Daltile First Snow Lantern tile inlays were added to the carrara marble floor and shower enclosure. A soft gray wall color, combined with coordinating cabinetry and a white marble countertop, creates a soothing ambiance.
