WILKES-BARRE, PA — Wren, the major British kitchen and bath retail chain, has opened its latest showrooms in Levittown, PA and Milford and Newington CT, expanding the company’s footprint in the northeastern U.S, corporate officials announced.
Wren invested more than $30 million on eight new mega stores in 2021, said the company, which plans to open showrooms this year in Selden, NY; Wilkes-Barre, PA; Lawrenceville, NJ; Commack, NY, and other locations. Later in the year, Wren will open a further four new locations in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
“We’ve brought a unique concept to the American kitchen market for the first time and it’s proving successful,” said Raf Klimek, Wren Kitchens manufacturing & logistics director.
“The Northeast coast is a prime location for Wren in terms of connectivity, making it the perfect platform to continue our exciting expansion plans.”
Wren has invested $15.4 million in its 252,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing and headquarters facility in Wilkes-Barre, PA, according to the company.
